Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies only to information collected through Franchise Group websites on which it is posted. It does not apply to third-party platforms, such as websites owned by our franchisees, social media websites, vendor pages, websites of other corporations, limited liability companies, etc. or to Franchise Group owned websites or other owned platforms on which it is not posted. It also does not apply to information collected through other channels, such as over the phone or in person.
By installing any third-party application, you are authorizing such third-party application to perform the actions and/or share with the third-party application the information communicated to Franchise Group, or requested from Franchise Group to perform the actions and/or share with the third-party application the information communicated to Franchise Group, or requested from Franchise Group. Franchise Group is going to send that information through the third-party application, which will then go through the internet. Franchise Group shall not be held responsible for any dissemination, use, misuse, and/or disclosure of the user’s information through use of this or any third-party application.

Information We Collect
Information You Manually Provide. Franchise Group collects the information you manually provide (using your keyboard, mouse, or touchpad) when you use this Site, for example, we collect the information you provide when you request service, express interest in becoming a franchisee, send us questions, or otherwise interact with this Site. Information from Third-Party Social Media Platforms. California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) requires us to provide additional privacy-related information to residents of California.
The sections entitled “Information We Collect” and How We Use Your Information” above lists the categories of personal identifiable information (“PII”) we or our subsidiaries have collected about California residents in the preceding 12 months. For purposes of this California Privacy Rights section, these categories of PII include the following information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you or your household:
including name, email address, username and password in connection with our subsidiaries, mailing address, billing address, telephone number, mobile phone number, birthday and IP address;
including credit card number, rewards number, demographic information, and information about your purchase preferences; and
Internet or other electronic network activity information
including browser type, domain name, specific web pages through which you click, and physical location information derived from your device attributes and settings.
Consistent with the sections entitled “Information We Collect” and How We Use Your Information” above, we collect PII from you and the devices you use, or from third parties.

Sharing your PII for business purposes.
We may share the following categories of your PII with the Franchise Group family of businesses and related and unrelated business partners; service providers; regulatory authorities and law enforcement officials; and other third parties for our business purposes:
- Commercial information; and
- Internet or other electronic network activity information
As described above, examples of business purposes include, but are not limited to, data analysis, audits, developing new products and services, enhancing our Site, improving our services, personalizing your experiences, and protecting against fraud.
Sharing your PII for commercial or other purposes.
We may share the following categories of your PII with the Franchise Group family of businesses and related and unrelated business partners, service providers, and other third parties in a manner that constitutes a “sale” under California law:

California Residents’ Privacy Rights
Verifiable Consumer Requests regarding Disclosure, Deletion and Handling of PII. Subject to certain exceptions and qualifications, as a California resident, you have the right to, at no charge, up to twice every 12 months:
: To submit a verifiable request that we disclose to you the categories and specific pieces of PII that we have collected about you in the prior 12 months and to have this delivered, either (a) by mail or (b) electronically in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily useable format that allows the individual to transmit this PII to another entity without hindrance.
: To submit a verifiable request to delete the PII that we have collected about you, except where such PII is maintained for certain exempt purposes described under the CCPA.
Additional Information Right
. To submit a verifiable request that we disclose to you how we have handled your PII in the prior 12 months, including the:
- categories and specific pieces of PII collected about you;
- categories of sources from which the PII is collected;
- business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling (if applicable) the PII;
- categories of third parties with whom we have shared your PII;
- PII that we have disclosed or shared with a third party for a business purpose; and
- categories of third parties to whom the PII has been sold and the specific categories of PII sold to each category of third party.
Should you wish to request the exercise of your rights as detailed above with regard to your PII, to the extent required by applicable law, we will respond to your request to exercise your rights above upon your request submitted via one of the following options:

Right to Non-Discrimination.
Franchise Group will not discriminate against California residents for exercising their rights under the CCPA.
Notice of Financial Incentives.
Franchise Group may offer financial incentive programs to California residents. As a California resident, you must opt-in to participate in any financial incentive program we may offer after reviewing the terms of such program and the instructions for opting-in. You have the right to revoke your consent to participate in any financial incentive program we may offer at any time, and you may do so by contacting us as defined below.
Franchise Group does not sell your personally identifiable information for money. You must be at least 13 years old to have our permission to use this Site. We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information about visitors under 13 years of age. If you are under the age of 13, please do not use this Site.
Access to Your Information
If you would like to review, correct, and update the personal information you have provided to us through this Site, please contact us using the information provided in the section below. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time or within the time limit set out by applicable privacy law. Retention of Personal Information
Franchise Group retains the personal information collected on this Site as long as necessary to provide the services, products and information you request or as permitted by applicable law.
Site Servers May Be Located Outside Your Home Country.
Franchise Group is a U.S. corporation and this Site is intended for a U.S. audience. The servers that support this Site and on which we store the information you provide to us through this Site may be located in a country other than where you reside. U.S. data protection laws may not provide as much protection as the data protection laws in force in some other countries.
However, we will process your information in accordance with this Policy no matter where our data is stored. If you are located in a country other than the United States, by using this Site you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
This Policy shall be governed under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America without regard to its conflicts of law provisions.
